SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Philip II. AD 247-249. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 11.11 g, 12h). Struck AD 247. Radiate and draped bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; ANTIOXIA/S C in two lines in exergue. Prieur 397 corr. (this coin; not cuirassed); McAlee 1020. Lightly toned with underlying luster, porosity, graffito in left reverse field. Near EF. Extremely rare, six known to Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
